Kelly Owens, ND
As a naturopathic primary care physician, Kelly Owen's focus is on family medicine. She provides all primary care services, including well-woman and well-child exams, annual physicals, and PMS management, as well as the natural treatment of menopause symptoms and of common childhood complaints. In addition, she treats a wide variety of chronic conditions, including, but not limited to, arthritis, autoimmune disease, diabetes, hormonal imbalances, infertility, allergies, digestive disturbances, and anxiety and/or depression.
Kelly responds to each of her patients as a unique individual, rather than just attending to his or her symptoms. She investigates all aspects of her patients' lives, to uncover the root cause of their discomfort. Then, Kelly facilitates her patients' healing by stimulating their bodies' own restorative forces and removing obstacles to health that may be interfering with a return to full functioning. By identifying and clearing these obstacles, and teaching her patients ways to restore and maintain their health, Kelly guides those in her care gently and naturally back to health.
Kelly grew up in Vancouver, Washington, and earned her B.S. in Biology from the University of Puget Sound, in Tacoma, Washington. She received her Naturopathic medical degree from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine, in Portland, Oregon, in 2004.
When she's not helping patients, Kelly enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and eating good foods, running, hiking, and cross-country skiing.Learn more about naturopathy.
